A team of professionals ranging from engineers to CFOs met July 13 to review the River Study drafted by Dobson Engineering. The study included options to ensure the ongoing safety of Boundary residents by mitigating or avoiding flood risk. No decisions were made because the meeting was to discuss and give feedback only. Elected officials attended to receive the information and to hear the discussion of the pros and cons of the options. The main purpose of the options is to find a goal for the Recovery Team to work towards. Once the goal is picked, the Recovery Team will develop the designs, works authorizations, and find funding.
