• Disaster Mitigation Adaptation Fund – The expression of Interest was submitted. The work scope included bank stabilization, diking in downtown, north and south ruckle, land acquisition, and related flood protection works.
  • DFA first draft submitted – includes dike repairs to get it to preflood condition or as otherwise required by statute.
  • Industrial lift station design is underway to rebuild it to appropriate flood protection levels under the insurance claim.
  • The electrical switch yard controls have been lifted to be above the flood level.
  • Storm system – flood levels pushed the system beyond design thresholds which caused backflow into downtown. While the outflows will be fitted with better ways of blocking inflow, the overall groundwater and infiltration issue requires a more complicated solution.
  • Bank stabilization planning continues for the unstable portion of the Kettle River in South Ruckle.
